Your Body Is The Healer
The human body was designed by God to be naturally self-healing and self-protective. It is the healer. It is ever and always moving toward self-protection and repair. Cut yourself, and you’ll soon find a clot, then a scab–a healing process. Break a bone, and the body will lay down mineral deposits to heal it. Come under the attack of a virus, the the body will send its police force (white blood cells) to arrest and purge the invader.
A truth about your body of which you may be unaware, though, is that you have as many as ten thousand cancer cells floating around inside. You, me, the neighbor next door have all got cancerous cells. Here again, though is part of the marvelous design of our bodies. That force that goes after a virus is also designed to seek out and destroy mutant cells we call cancer. No problem.
Teamwork In Action
The body you inhabit is a synergistic city of cells–one hundred trillion of them. Each has an important individual role to play and in so doing supports the working of the whole. Taking a tour inside yourself, you’d find teams of cellular employees manning industries and systems, keeping your cellular city running smoothly.
You’d find billions working the communications infrastructure that keeps every cell in touch with the command and control center–your brain. Other huge teams would be employed in food warehouses, water purification systems, energy production plants, heating and ventilation systems, and the learning center.
A poet-king once pondered the unique gift we’ve all been given: ‘You (God) made all the delicate, inner parts of my body; and knit them together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous–and how well I know it.’
Then Why Don’t I Feel Good?
I see that question more often than I hear it. I see it in the eyes of folks that come to me looking for help and hope. Their eyes often ask, ‘If my body is so wonderful, so self-healing, then why do I feel so terrible?’
The fundamental truth about many of the chronic and degenerative diseases that now plague the US (ie cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, osteoporosis, and others) is that we have brought them upon ourselves, even if mostly out of ignorance.
We simply do not comprehend the care and feeding of the human body. As a result, our collective health is suffering. The American Medical Association and the World Health Organization confirm that we in the US are now in the midst of the worst epidemic of chronic and degenerative disease that the world has ever known.
How Then Shall We Live?
Your body is the healer. Help it. Give it what it requires, and remove what taxes it.
If you’d like some help, I’d be honored. My particular role is to help identify what’s nutritionally weak and out of balance in a person’s body, then suggest a battle plan of targeted supplements and diet/lifestyle changes to help regain balance.
I don’t treat illness and disease; I strengthen bodies to fight illness and disease.
